Yawl Octave Mandolin

This instrument is increasingly used in north-american folk music. (Sarah Jarosz, Sierra Hull, etc.)

The shape is inspired by a guitar design of mine, the "Yawl", but with a smaller body. The arched-top build of the soundboard gives a very mellow yet projective sound to this instrument.
